Pathway: textiles

We was shown and had a go at print making on to paper and cotton I found this quite hard as I'm not used to using these kind of materials but I gave it ago and I quite enjoyed it and think it could come into other bits of my work I produce.

I used a painting of a hare out of a magazine to help me produce something on the same lines as what I chose to study at the museum , I traced the image on to tracing paper then I got my print making paint and rolled it evenly on to the plastic wallet and then lay my paper on as I wanted to experiment with both paper and cotton then I repeated this process on to cotton and did a repeat to fill the piece of material' I then decided to stitch free hand back into my print to give the effect of the fur on the hare and I did this by simple straight stitches I really liked the idea into building back into my print.
